Hello all!

Recently I've been feeling some severe stock apathy. I'm bored of drama, of the constant pressure to not impose rules on my copyrighted images, of not having time to deal with the lovely people making lovely art because I'm too busy educating dickheads on copyright law.

So.

Stock is gone. Textures remain.

Rules remain but will be made slightly more flexible. I'll be altering those over the course of the next week.

If you have already downloaded stock images from me, you are quite welcome to use them, just please stick to the old rules below.

I hope this will make for a happier, more productive pendlestock.

COPY AND PASTE RULES INTO WORD (or some other word processing programme) FOR READABLE SIZE I just needed them to be small for now

These images must NOT be redistributed in ANY FORM. That includes layouts, tags, signatures, free artwork and PRE MADE STOCK.
All images, unless otherwise specified, are free for print use within DA, personal and gift art outside of DA. If your work is published or exhibited - AWESOME! Take photos so I can see! Anything other than that, including all commercial usage, PLEASE NOTE FIRST.
Only your own photography modified with my textures may be uploaded in the photography gallery. ANY works containing my stock images MUST be uploaded into the digital art gallery - I took the photograph, not you!
My stock images may not be used for digital processing practice. This includes airbrushing and basic digital darkroom techniques. BE CREATIVE.

Please note me to let me know you've used an image, or comment on the deviation you've used so I can take a peek and fave it
I'm pretty open as to what can be done with my art, but please nothing to promote war, violence, physical or sexual abuse, or commercial brands that are not eco friendly (for example Hummer are BAD, toyota are GOOD) or exploit vulnerable people (for example clothing lines that use slave labour).
HORSE MANIPULATIONS I have no problems with manipulations containing horses. However, the deluge of copy and pasted horses in fields for RPing sites is quite frankly, boring, and not a particularly artistic or creative use of stock. There are 10,000 other stock images of fields, mine are in no way superior so I'm sure it's no skin off your nose not to use them. I have already had to remove 6 images because of mis use, so please do not ruin it for other artists by breaking this rule. Do not use my fields in your horse manips.
Please only use my stock with other valid stock images in your artwork. To see a definition of this please read this newsletter [link] . If you use my stock in a piece containing googled images or copyrighted images I will report it.

Thank's for keeping your wonderful textures up!

I've downloaded some of your cat stock. I will try to decipher your old rules. You couldn't use a tinier font size, could you? My poor eyesight! I'll have to zoom up the text a few times, in order to read them.

Or is it the same text as in the custom "Stock Use of Rules" box?

Unfortunately I didn't download one of your portrait stock photos showing you. I planned to make a surprise for you using it. I just needed to learn more of Flash.

It was the photo, on which you were looking a tad mischievously into the camera. I loved it and I'm sure, that I had faved it. Could you maybe send it to me by e-mail? That would be awesome!

Otherwise I wish you best of luck in becoming a productive `pendlestock again!

Oh, I just remembered, that I only faved your awesome derelict houses stock photos, but never downloaded them.

I really should always download interesting stock photos, instead of only faving them first. You're not the only account, that suddenly closed stock down, before I downloaded those photos, I wanted to use later.

Yes download EVERYTHING

It makes external hard drives necessary but it's worth it.

Aww, thank you very much for that offer!

It would be awesome, if you could send me this portrait photo sometime in July or August. I'm afraid, I wouldn't be able to make it for your birthday anyway.

First I'll have to set up a Flash Portfolio on a website before Tuesday and then increase it until mid August. I'm learning more about Flash each day and have to speed up.

This together with some contests and a moustache will keep me busy.

I've got already three external hard drives, the newest is 1 TB, but this also does get filled each time I'm taking photos.

Since my laptop hard drive crashed I've started doing a security copy of all files, thus having them on at least two external hard drives AND I also burn my most favourite photos on DVD's...

I'm only slightly paranoid.

Texture Rules of Use

CREDIT and LINK You only need to credit on deviantART submissions. If you use it elsewhere, and it is not appropriate to do so, then do not worry. Please credit AND provide a link back to either the texture used or my stock home page.

NOTIFY me of any stock use. You can comment on the texture used, my homepage or send me a note with a LINK to your work.

PRINTS You are free to submit your work using my textures as prints on deviantART and Redbubble (ask if somewhere else

), and you are fine to sell work using my textures in etsy shops, private shops, conventions etc.

COMMERCIAL USE You are free to use my textures on commission based illustration work. However please ask if you are using them for paid advertising, marketing or design work.
